Kundapura: Citizens welcome first Mumbai CST-Mangalore Express train

Kundapur, Sept 26, 2013:

Udupi – Chikmagalur MP K Jayaprakash Hegde welcomed the passengers by distributing sweets. Railway Hitharakshana Samithi Kundapur thanked the Union Railway Ministry and MK JP Hegde  for responding to the needs of the people of Kundapur.

Konkan Railway has been providing two minute halt to 12133/12134 Mumbai CST-Mangalore Express at Kundapur Station on experimental basis. 
 
Railway users forum member Radhakrishna Shenoy, Kundapur Railway Hitharakshana Samithi president Kenchanoor Somshekar Shetty, secretary Sachidanada Shetty, Shubhachandra Hathwar, Vivek Nayak, Kundapur BJP Chief Rajesh Kaveri, former BJP Chief Kishore Kumar, Congress leader Ganesh Sherugar and Local Rotary and Lions Club members were present.
