Kundapur: Dengerous 1.5 Deep ditch near Hariprasad hotel on NH 66

Everyday there are incidents of 2 wheel riders getting injured after falling into the road side ditch on NH 66 between Shastri circle and Sangam hotel. Around 1.5 feet deep ditch is found near Hariprasad hotel and most of the 2 wheel riders,without knowing about its existence, fell into the ditch almost everyday in a bid to give way for the on coming vehicles. Even though the concerned Department knew about the problem,it has kept silent and this led to the public anger.

There is an ATM booth beside the National Highway. The customers coming to use the ATM,also fell many a time into the ditch.
By overlooking,the ditch cannot be found which became the reason behind these incidents. Most of the 2 wheelers from other places who do not know about the ditch, fell and sustain injuries every day.
