Kundapura: Free Eye Check up camp held

A ‘Free Eye check up camp’ was held at Vakwadi Govt.primary school on 30/11/2013. Check up camp was jointly sponsored by Rotary club Kundapur Midtown, Primary Health Center Koorgi,  Charmakki Narayan Shetty Memorial Lions eye clinic Kota,Dist.Blindness Easement Dept. Udupi,Dist.Health and Family Welfare Dept,Udupi, Kalavara village panchayath, Yuva Shakthi Mitra Mandali Heggarubaili Vakwadi.

The camp was inaugurated by Kalavara Taluk Panchayath member Salwadi Deepak Kumar Shetty. Kalavara village panchayath president Vakwadi Sathish Poojari presided over the programme. Lions Club Kota eye clinic doctor K.Ranjith Shetty welcomed the guests and formally addressed the programme.

Govt.Primary school HM Arooru Timmappa Shetty,Primary Health Center Koorgi medical officer Dr.Prathap Kumar,Yuva Shakthi Mithra Mandali Vakwadi president Sadashiv Shettigar,Rotary club members Y.Seetharam Shetty,Shivaram Shetty,Abdul Basheer,Madhukar Hegde,Raviraj Shetty were present at the stage.
Primary Health center staff Smt.Padmavathi proposed vote of thanks. Yuva Shakthi member Santhosh Kullal compered the programme.
