Kundapura: Bus and Bike Collision - Youth Killed on Spot

In a head-on collision a bike rider died on the spot at Goliangadi Haikadi here on January 16.
The deceased has been identified as Raghavendra Naik (25), son of Narasimha Naik and Parvathi Bhai of Dasanakodlu, Kundapur.  

Raghavendra who was earlier running a grocery in Mavinakatte had recently joined as a supervisor in a quarry. Raghavendra was riding his bike from Haladi and going towards Goliyangadi when a private bus plying towards Kundapur after dropping Shabarimala devotees at Hebri collided head on into the bike at Goliyangadi. 
Raghavendra died on the spot. Immediately after the accident the driver of the bus fled from the spot. A case has been registered in the Kundapur police station.
