Kundapura: Sexual Harassment of Minor Girl - Man Arrested

Kundapura, Jan 7 2013: The Shankarnarayana police arrested Satish Naik (26), a resident of Marikudlu Belve in Shankaranarayana on sexual harassment charges here on January 7.

According to police sources, the accused Satish Naik allegedly sexually assaulted a-nine-year old student, who is studying in third standard. The incident took place when the girl was returning home after school. 

Satish forcibly took the girl to his house and locked her in a room, there he blind folded her before molesting. When Satish was molesting the girl, his mother who had gone out came home, during which the girl was able to escape from the place.   
The girl went home and revealed the incident to her parents. Her father lodged a complaint in the Shankaranarayana police station.

Police have registered the case and arrested Satish for further investigation.
