Maravanthe Beach, Kundapura
Maravanthe is a beach near Kundapura, Karnataka, India.
One of Karnataka's most beautiful beaches. It is about 55 kilometers (34 mi) from Udupi.
NH-66 runs right next to the beach and the Suparnika
River flows on the other side of the road, creating a spectacular
scenery and considered only one of its kind in India.
The river
Souparnika, which almost touches Arabian Sea here, makes a U turn and
goes eastward to join the Sea only after a journey of more than 10 kilometers (6.2 mi), which is a geological wonder.
Maravanthe is a seaside town close to the temple town of Kollur and Kodachadri hills.
On town’s west coast, NH 66 sails on with Arabian Sea on one side and the Sauparnika River on the other. The national highway is so situated that it divides the sea and the river. Kodachadri Hills forms a mountainous setting. The national highway is around only 100 meters away from the shore.

Another attraction at a short distance from this place is the Belaka Theertha Falls.
