Kollur: Union Finance Minister Chidambaram Pays Low-key Visit to Kollur Temple

Kundapura, Oct 27 2013: Although there were reports that Union finance minister would be visiting Mangalore on a private visit, even the party circles were unaware of what exact programme he had planned.

On Sunday, he arrived at Shri Mookambika temple in Kollur and offered special puja and Chandika Homa. Apparently he had shunned all security since it was a totally private visit.

Attempts were made to speak to him. But he refused to speak to the media.
He reportedly visited the temple like any other ordinary devotee and returned without any fanfare.
