Uppinangady: 18 year old Girl Raped by Uncle - Arrested

Uppinangady, Dec 14 2013: A 18-year-old girl was raped by her own uncle in Shirady here on December 13.
Shivani (Name changed) was raped by her own uncle Manjunath (28) three months ago when she had gone to her uncle's house to watch TV. On December 12, she came to Mangalore Lady Goschen hospital for a medical test because of health issues.  

While she was diagnosed, the doctor found that she was pregnant. Shivani revealed the true story about her pregnancy. Immediately the hospital authorities called Uppinangady police and complained to them about Shivani's case. 
The Uppinangay police arrested Manjunath on December 12 and produced him before the court on December 13.  He was sent to judicial custody.
